We have a range of workshops on offer to tempt everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned dancers.

Our workshops are held in an air-conditioned dance studio, normally on a Sunday, and for most of them you don’t need to have your own partner as we will match the group.

We'll write back to you and confirm your place and give you all the details you'll need. Workshop venues are Cheshunt/Ware/Harlow. DROPS & SEDUCERS

  • Practise a range of lifts and drops to spice up your dancing!
  • Girls - how to make your partner look like superman!
  • Men - how to make your partner look as light as a feather!
  • Small group with plenty of opportunity for individual tuition
  • Learn the "safe" way to lead these different moves

These are partnered workshops  i.e. couples will not move round. An intermediate standard of dancing is required. This workshop is for dancers at Intermediate level and it covers a number of drops - some of which we would not teach in a class, showing the correct positioning to both get the most spectacular effect and be safe and comfortable.

Please note that applications will not be accepted if, in our opinion, the applicants are not ready for this level of dancing.

This 4 hour workshop is £45 per pair.

DOUBLE TROUBLE

This four-hour workshop covers:

- basic principles of Double Trouble for men and ladies

- simple moves where the ladies do the same thing either at the same time or alternating

- some complex moves where the ladies are doing different moves

- some simple choreographed moves that look good without being difficult to achieve!

- combining the moves

The emphasis is on lead-and-follow so that most of the moves can be used easily in freestyle.

The workshop assumes that the dancers can easily perform basic Modern Jive moves such as Lady Spin, Combs, Push Spin, Catapult, Yoyo.  No previous experience of Double Trouble is required.

This 4 hour workshop is £45 per triple, please apply as a threesome - any combination as we can't help you form groups. All women triples work as well as the usual 1 man/2 ladies combination.
