Just Jivin’ has been established for over 12 years teaching modern jive classes, running workshops and regular dance events in the Herts, Beds. & West Essex area. We are known for our welcoming atmosphere and friendly dancers.

Modern jive is a partner social dance for all ages (over 18) taught in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. But you don’t need a partner! You can dance with anybody in the room. To keep you on the floor, our music ranges from the sixties to the latest chart hits. It’s easy to learn & will keep you fit and just a great way to make new friends.

Our teachers are UKA qualified so you will be taught professionally, correctly and safely.

Also, it’s not a course, you only pay for the nights you attend. We currently run 2 class nights a week. We also run 1 Freestyle night a month (last Friday) which is well attended by dancers from far & wide. Resident Dj playing just the best music around is ‘Mick on the mic’. No lessons – a freestyle night is dancing all evening just for the love of it!
